The groom is the son of Brad and Lynn Koury of Burlington. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Koury of Burlington; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Helms of Burlington; and the late Peggy Helms.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an Allure Couture organza gown with a fitted bodice and featuring Swarovski crystals detailing the one-shoulder strap. Her skirt featured organza with three-dimensional effects and accents of feathers. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses accented with white feathers, and she wore a tiara that her sister, Lesli, wore on her wedding day.
